WHAT WE AS INDIVIDUALS CAN DO TO PREVENT CLIMATE CHANGE?

Nowadays, it is spoken about climate change. It’s about the global warming due to human action that emits gases to the atmosphere. This causes the greenhouse effect damages all climatic systems of the planet. The reflection about this matter is very important because it makes people aware of the need to take care of the environment and of the climate in general.
The effects of the irresponsible human action have been devastating in many places. The increase of the temperature in the world has melted the polar icecaps, leading to of the level of ocean waters. In the future, many coastal cities will be submerged. The increase of temperature has also caused the deaths of several species of animals and vegetables, losing the balance several ecosystems. With the deforestation of the forest, especially in tropical countries like Brazil and other African countries, the trend is significantly increasing the desert regions of the planet. There is still the increasing of hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones, which cause deaths of thousands of people, especially elderly people and small children.
I think the situation is very serious because has transformed the lifestyle of the people and it has threatened the life in the planet. Many leaders of the Nations have reflected about solutions to lessen the intensity of the land warming. This step doesn’t prevent that other actions can be assumed by people in their environments. In my opinion, there are several things we can do, for example: It is possible, to leave the car at home and to use the public transport system (bus, metro, train) or bick. Another thing we can do is to collaborate with the recycling of rubbish and to use as much as possible the natural lighting inside of the household environments. We can also avoid the deforestation and forest fires in the forests.
In conclusion, I believe that the human being is capable of doing good deeds to save the planet as well as he was capable of damaging it. There is a global sensitization about this issue and many initiatives have been taken in view of making people aware of the need of new behaviour and mentality, principally concerning to nature that is the more affected. The human being must care for the nature because it can survive without the human being, but the human being can’t survive without the nature. The program of afforestation should be taken up by everybody because the planting of trees is an important step in the prevention of the global warming.
